They produced a few flowers and now all of them have at least one pod developing.
So after soaking and neglect, it looks like I might get some beans after all - some, but not many. In fact, the quantity is so small that I don't think I'll get any to eat if I also want to keep seeds for next year. These are the seeds given to me by a friend of my dad's which are the closest to baked beans that will grow in the UK (at least I think they are - she gave me two varieties and it might be the other ones).
